Eligibility Requirements
Those who meet all of the following conditions:
Individuals who are 18 years of age or older and have completed 12 years of formal schooling.
Individuals who have studied Japanese for 150 hours or more, or who possess Japanese language ability equivalent to or higher than Reference Framework Level A1 (Please refer to the table on the right for tests that measure Japanese ability equivalent to Level A1).
Individuals with a clear purpose for their studies.
Individuals in good health who can continue long-term studies.
Selection Method
１．Document Screening – We will review the contents of the application documents and confirm the applicant’s intention to study abroad, purpose, educational background, and financial situation.
２．Selection Examination – A written test and interview will be conducted with the applicant.
３．Interview with the Financial Sponsor – If necessary, an interview will be conducted with the financial sponsor (such as a family member) to confirm the details stated in the application documents.
